1. App licence and these terms
The app licence is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), unless a different licence is expressly provided through the App Store. These terms provide additional product and support information; they do not replace or reduce the Standard EULA or your mandatory legal rights. If provisions conflict, mandatory law and the applicable App Store licence terms take priority.
2. Creative tools
HiStitch is a local embroidery-style creative tool. The available creative and export tools are shown in the app; no HiStitch account is required. Availability of particular device features depends on your device, operating system and permissions.
3. Your work and materials
You retain your rights in your original text, drawings, photos and other content. Using HiStitch does not transfer ownership of your work to us or give us permission to publish it or train AI on it. You must have the rights needed to import, use and share third-party content. Rights in the app, branding, fonts and built-in asset library are separate from rights in your original contributions. Exporting a composition does not transfer ownership of these materials; use or redistribution of the materials remains subject to their applicable licences. Third-party components remain subject to their own licences.
4. Local saving and backups
HiStitch stores editable works locally and does not provide its own cloud backup or cross-device artwork sync. Uninstalling, clearing data, device loss or a storage problem can remove work. Export important images, videos or files and maintain your own backups before deleting the app or changing devices. An exported image or video is not an editable HiStitch project backup. Apple or other backups depend on your settings and are not managed by HiStitch. The saved-work collection currently keeps up to 100 entries. Saving beyond this limit can remove older saved entries, so export important works separately.
5. Embroidery-machine exports
DST export is an experimental feature. Machine compatibility, sizing, stitch density, thread changes and the final result may vary. Inspect files in suitable embroidery software, follow your machine’s instructions, and test on scrap material before production. HiStitch does not certify a file for a particular machine or production purpose. Any applicable warranty, remedy or liability is determined by the app licence and law, including mandatory consumer protections.
6. Acceptable use and external services
Use the app and support service lawfully and respect others’ privacy and intellectual-property rights. Do not misuse support, interfere with service security, except where applicable law permits the relevant activity. Importing or sharing with another app, visiting linked websites and using Apple services may be subject to those providers’ terms. HiStitch has no public user-content feed or moderation service.
7. Availability and consumer rights
We aim to keep the app useful and reliable, but cannot promise error-free operation, compatibility with every future device or uninterrupted third-party services. The applicable app licence governs warranties and liability to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights concerning defective digital content or services. Contact support about a problem before deleting your local data.
8. Changes, ending use and contact
You may stop using the app at any time; make backups before removing it. We may update these terms for changes to the product or legal requirements, show the revised date and provide notice or seek agreement where required.
